The Public Relations Affiliation of Uganda (PRAU) launched the PRAU Run at NRG Radio, aimed towards elevating UGX 800 million to arrange a home for Uganda’s PR group. The PRAU Governing Council flagged off the fundraising with a contribution of UGX100 million.
This 12 months’s PRAU Run, held beneath the theme Run for the PRAU Home varieties part of a sequence of actions the Affiliation has lined as a lot as have a great time its Golden Jubilee, marking 50 years since its founding in 1976.
Launching the 2026 PRAU Run, Ronald Beinomugisha, PRAU Vice President, said, “As we’ve a great time 50 years, this run is bigger than a well being event. PRAU paid-up members will entry the package deal at UGX 40,000, and Non-PRAU members at UGX 50,000.
Together with the Run, PRAU concluded its fiftieth Annual Frequent Meeting in March 2026, all through which it launched digital membership IDs and outlined actions for the fiftieth Anniversary celebration throughout the last half of the 12 months.
